Beady eyed students and excited teachers and staff of Markaz Academy English HS School, Hojai watched in amazement as India’s Chandrayan 3 soft-landed on the south pole of the lunar surface during a special live screening of the event organised by the school administration at the institution’s auditorium today.

In accordance with a government instruction to the effect, officials of the school’s parent organisation–Markazul Ma’arif lent active support to ensure that the students do not miss out watching India’s milestone moment in space exploration.

Patriotic fervor loomed in the air as the children and the staff cheered for the ISRO team behind the achievement. The event was simultaneously also held at the Sairamir Campus, the Markaz Model Girls’ Senior Secondary School, Hojai and Markaz Institute of Modern Education (MIME), all sister organisations of the institution based in Hojai.
