It was a day away from books and routine for the students of Markaz Academy English HS School & Markaz Model Girls S.S School as Children’s Day was observed with festive gaiety at the auditorium of the institution. Keeping with the custom of the day, the teachers took on the role of students and entertained the children through songs, poems and short speeches. Many students also spoke on the ocassion. Principals of both the Academies thanked the staff and students for their cooperation and active participation that made it truly a day for the children to remember. Later, the teachers distributed token gifts and sweets among the children.
